Hi Folks,
In any B 17 Y1B thru G, was there ever door in the floor between the pilots, that covered the top of the tunnel to the nose compartment? I have not heard of this anyone?

Hello, Can anyone confirm if the Boeing B-17E Fortress 41-2489 Suzy Q had the name on both sides of the nose, also was her tail painted with red and white stripes? Any other information on color camouflage and which bases she flew out of would be most appreciated. Was sh painted in a Hawaiian Depot ...

Does anyone know the serial numbers of the b 17 g, which carried the Disney bombs?
Is it possible to ascertain which b 17 g flew with these bombs serial numbers or aircraft code.

I just picked up a copy of the book/script by Watson.
A fun read. The forward say the movie came about from a meeting with hap Arnold and Jack Warner.
I find this very interesting.
