Flight of the Phoenix

Anyone care to comment on the remake?
Since it is already available on home video,
I assume it probably isn't as good as the
Jimmy Stewart original.

I guess I'm only interested in the C-119 scenes anyway.

Watched it on PPV just last week. Sure glad I didn't spend $8-10 bucks at the theatre to see this stinker!

I thought it was okay...different from the original but okay. The opening shots with the real C-119 were great. The computer generated crash was pretty fake, both for the airplane and the sand storm.
