B-25C 41-13202 "Idaho Lassie"

Post by Dan Johnson »

I've been reading a book called "Meditereanean Mitchells" about the 445th BS, 321st BG.

There are some grainy images and history on a B25C named "Idaho Lassie". It was sent home after 150 combat missions in the MTO.

I'm wondering if anyone might have come across some clearer photos of her that might show her complete markings.

It looks like it was in Desert Pink it's entire career so it's markings at the end of its tour would have been interesting.

My father, Robert Grau, was the first pilot of the Idaho Lassie (he named her). The Idaho Lassie and her crew (including my dad) were featured in a Look magazine article during the war, with several pictures.
