One for the 17 Detectives

Picked this up recently. Another unmarked photo of eBay that almost slipped through.

Considering the similarity to the markings on the 17 in Chris's post, I assume "Queenie" is from the same field. I'm guessing the lack of guns means this is postwar and possibly one sold to a civilian buyer?

Also interesting it's another one of those no cheek gun NMF 17Gs

Since no one bit, I'm curious if it's possible this is one of the RFC Forts? Stripped of guns and the Civilian car in front suggests it's a surplus bird.

Hmmm...I think Dave identified the Pipestone B-17 and nobody noticed?

42-102722 was at Altus after November 1945. It then went to Pipestone if the D U1 identity is correct.
