If it was they would have been recovered when Glacier Girl was recovered. There are perhaps other airframes around that are not under 200+ feet of ice th...

Re: Lacey Lady B-17 44-85790
More of what Tom Wilson has been up to lately on the Lacey Lady. Drilling out a lot of rivets on the cockpit roof. Go Tom go. http://i1318.photobucket.com/albums/t647/warbirdcrazy/2013-07-31_11_44_57_2_zps17474266.jpg http://i1318.photobucket.com/albums/t647/warbirdcrazy/993355_406532186115189_18494...

Yep,
Ray Fowler and Brent Conner are doing the ferry flight. Departing the east coast this Saturday. Erickson did indeed buy Chuckie. For the time being Chuckie will reside at the Tillamook Air Museum until the collection is moved to Madras.

No luck yet with making contact with Albert Stix whom we are told has quite the stash of turret parts. If anyone out there has any parts or knows where some may be please pm...

Re: Lacey Lady B-17 44-85790
Many years ago before any thought was given to restoring her, the ball turret was donated to the Amvets for use in Preston's Pride. The complete upper turret went to the Arizona wing of the CAF for use in Sentimental Journey as did a few items from the tail turret. These are the big items. Luckily w...
