Looking for the AAF serial number of a B-25 that went missing over the Hump on 23 Jan 1943. The airplane was later found at 26 degrees 58 min / 95 degrees 30 min. Need full names and rank of crew. Before I got disgusted with **pukes** Air **puke** Classics, I believe it was in that **pukes** publication where I read that it was a guy, I want to say Mike Wright that flew her from Lambert and the ship did suffer an engine failure....I don't know about the blown tire.....two coffins, that's a go...

Didn't the Wright Brothers (Not the Wright Brothers of Aviation History at Kitty Hawk) ferry this ship out of Oswego? I believe I read somewhere that they had an engine failure sometime after takeoff. It's been years so I employ the CRS factor.

I for one like that windscreen. What example (besides this one) sported such a windscreen as this is the first one I have ever seen on any airframe in any photo, peace time or combat
