Re: New Build Sperry A-1A Top Turret Dome
Where is this A1A shell going to go? The scratch-built B-17F project that is showcased on this forum?

HANG,
Would love to hear about the approach/method you will take in order to create a B-17 nose cone.

Re: The start of Lucky 13
Awesome start! Looks like you have a pretty sweet facility to build her in. Is that a waist gunner opening on the fuselage section with the orange stripe?

Do you think that is the original paint on her back in '76?

Re: Labrador B-17G 44-83790 restoration
Outstanding. Cannot ever remember a time when so many B-17s were being restored/rebuilt/built from scratch.
On a side note - I always thought this was going to be rebuilt as a B-17F? Not the case, obviously. No worries...you can never have too many B-17Gs around! Looking great!

B-17 blueprints
I have asked this in the past, but the Smithsonian is not capable of producing blueprints at this time (nor have they in the last 5 yrs). With all of the B-17 restorations going on right now, does anyone have the complete B-17 blueprints on DVD for sale? Surely they can be found cheaper than this......

Any updates on your B-17F project, Lucky? Or have you been busy with other folks' Forts?

B-17E serials?
Trying to find any info on these Pacific-based B-17Es, including serial numbers. Maybe Mr. Birdsall would know? Any help is much appreciated! http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p250/BoeingFortress/MissOklahomaSooner.jpg http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p250/BoeingFortress/StudDuck.jpg http://i130....
