I don't have a close-up pic of the hand controller but found this one which shows what it should look like.

Thanks.

B-24 Tail Turret Hand Controller

I know it's not B-17 related but I was curious if anyone out there knows where I can acquire a B-24 Tail Turret Hand Controller?

Thanks!

I'm glad Scott finally put his foot down.

Now if he would only ban some of the other "problem children" that site might actually be worth joining again some day. :?

It's really hard to tell given the poor quality of the image. In all of my research on the ball turret and it's various models I've never encountered one with protrusions like this. The "Mickey" radome was rather slender and wouldn't give this type of irregular shape. I guess it's a mystery!...

jpeters, people are going to be people, and are irrational when they can have what they want when they want it. I just consider the sore-ess and ignore it. Sure hope Dik has a better day. I agree Gary. Unfortunately a few of these trouble makers have turned off a number of people from WIX. At times...

I noticed the thread about the server being down and all of the a-holes who sent nasty PM's to Scott about about it. It appears things haven't changed since I left WIX over a year ago. It's unfortunate that a few jerks have to ruin such a wonderful website. I think it's time Scott starts banning som...

Joe, If your'e interested in weapons I'd highly suggest you visit the U.S. Army Infantry Museum located at Fort Benning, GA which is just outside of Columbus. They have every kind of weapon you can think of on display from the Revolutionary War all the way to the present (both foreign and domestic)....

I know...I felt so guilty having to bail at the last minute for the Oshkosh meeting. Things have been absolutely crazy around here and I'm hoping things at work will slow down sometime this spring. I want to try and get down there soon so I can drool on all the wonderful work you and Mike have been ...

You bring up a good point Bill. Considering the amount of work on your hands with the Rat I don't know if you'd have the energy to handle another project. I'd have a mental breakdown with a project that size!

What about a donation for the rat??

Bill,

Any progress on the 501c3 organization status?

I know I've helped out a little in the past and would like to do so again. Just curious if I can write it off on my taxes next year...every little bit counts ya know!

Bill, When I think of blister guns the first thing that comes to mind are the blister gun positions on the PBY Catalina Flying Boat. If memory serves me correct I believe some models carried a .50 cal in each blister which could swing into position when the blister "bubble" glass was opened. Of cour...

Re: Thanks

Thanks Guys, I feel really bad now for my posting, I never doubted that Bruce was a straightforward guy, he has been in contact and we are sorting out some parts. Anyone that has some seat frames or seat cushions please get in contact, these are the last items on my list for the cockpit project I a...
