Last week the blueprint for the instrument panel arrived, so I can start building the panel.

Question remains, what kind of material was used for the panel, was it aluminum? I have read phenolic was used, but that is kind of hard to come by and pretty expensive. Any suggestions?

They have arrived, not very useful I'm affraid. I did get a an illustrated parts list in the meantime. I had it printed into a book form. Still need to post the pictures.

Well, was my guess as well, but do you mean it's too late for both B-17's? As for the B-17 project I could imagine it was long gone. Perhaps the French B-17 could still be possible if they are willing to sell it, however they haven't replied yet. Other thing I have been planning on is building a B-1...
