All six became trainers; 6042 only lasted three months before it was a fatal loss at Rapid City. 6045 lasted a month longer before a ground loop at Geiger resulted in a writeoff that November. Three made it to the scrapyards at the end of the war (6041 and 6046 at Walnut Ridge, 6043 at Altus), and 6044 somehow survived at Orlando AAF until May 1947.
