Attn shoppers: Second Hobbs B-17F #50

The first #50, 42-5719, was lost 3-11-43 (per Osborne), when the crew bailed safely after an electrical fire. This photo of the second #50 is dated 3-15-44; note the nose gun mount:

42-5719 Hobbs 50 definitely did crash per the AAF accident report
