Laredo #233: 42-102885

Post by Chris Brame »

Was going to do an Attn shoppers on this one but it's so good I gave myself a Christmas present. B-17G trainer 42-102885; one of the small batches that bypassed Cheyenne and went straight into training. #233 on nose and tail indicate service at Laredo AAF:

All of the TB-17G's bypassed Cheyenne - you would be hard pressed to find a pumpkin on a TB-17G until they went on the production line

The photo of 885 is a new one for the collection - note she has a grey nose turret.
