There's a great item by Mario Schulze about the recovery of some remains of the 303rd Bomb Group's Wulfe Hound at:

This is the aircraft that Lt Paul Flickenger landed in France on December 12, 1942. The B-17 was repaired and flown by the Luftwaffe before being abandoned and ultimately destroyed by bombing at Oranienburg in 1945.

Steve,

Didn't someone post a photo of part of the instrument panel from '585 on one of the forums? At the time I was a tiny bit doubtful, but now I believe it may have been legit.
