Tom Reilly's site indicates that Libert Belle's first post-restoration flight was Wednesday, December 8th, 2004. A few more details at Mr. Reilly's web site:

Another restored B17 in the air is a wonderful holiday gift.

During the engine run up on Tuesday, a magneto check on #1
turned up bad, and had to be replaced.
Prior to Wednesday's flight, two AT-6 "chase planes" did a formation
take-off, soon followed by the '17.
