B-25 Love Machine

Post by mak »

Hello,

Is there any way to find out where a B-25 called "Love Machine" ended up? My father and friends used to fly that plane all over the place and I used to climb around it as a small child in Galveston, Texas.

Thanks in advance,

My father was an owner of this aircraft back in the early 80's. It is now at Grand Forks AFB on display.

Then it would be s/n 44-28834, once registered as N9865C. History is contained in B-25 Mitchell in Civil Service but in 1970 shown as owned by Historical Aircraft Preservation Group, eventually ending up with Tri-State Aviation at Wahpeton, North Dakota before the trade to the USAF.
