I noticed in your April B-17 update, you mentioned the movie Fortress. It really isn't that bad of a movie, the tale it tells and hardships of the men and crews that flew out of North Africa to attack Italy during WWII, seem quite realalistic. It says it's based on actural events, could be. I am no expert on the performances of B-17"s, but the things they do on Two engines and then later on one engine, I will leave up to you Experts to decide if is possible. The one thing I did notice was the disclaimer at the end of the credits,( No real B-17's were harmed in the making of this movie). Scott, if your still looking for your "oeuvre", look under your "tome".
