The tale of a tail.

Saw this on E-bay when trolling for non-combat or stateside Fortresses. Just the tail of a 17 but the serial number intrigued me. Don't know if any other photos of it exists but at least a bit of her still remains, even if it's only a tail shot from probably the early 50s.
