The lesser-known birds from the Lost Squadron. They're still there for the taking, though I do believe Big Stoop's fuselage was crushed beyond recognition (didn't someone say they needed inner-wing panels?:). Surely global warming has melted away hundreds of feet of ice and snow by now

Does anyone happen to have any photos from the expedition showing what was left of Big Stoop?

It will probably come down to this: If someone has money and wants a B-17E badly enough, these are the only complete recoverable ones left. (I doubt what's left of the Black Cat Pass plane will be going anywhere, ever.) New fuselages can be built, and these two will have most of the other important pieces.
