B-17 Pilot's Seat

Post by DryMartini »

Anyone out there have a real B-17 pilot's/copilot's seat
and would like to help us out by providing pictures, or
even sgo so far as to be willing to let us borrow the seat
for a few months?

Seriously:

Why not contact Ed Maloney and ask to borrow one of the Lily seats? As long as you're willing to pay for the shipping back and forth, he might just say yes.

We are looking into having seats made. If that is what you are doing please contact us and we will work together. We have drawings for the seats.

We have the drawings for the seats, too.
It is just easier to interpret the drawings when
you are looking at a real one, especially since
the microfilm quality can be kinda lousy.

Have you started yours? We just began looking for the
keyhole extrusion ourselves.

How do I contact you?
