Anyone know how the restoration of the bar B-17 is going, I was emailed about supplying some parts I have but now it has all gone quite.
Bruce Orriss was in contact but now he is not replying to any e-mails.
Anyone know what the situation is?
Still progressing

From what I understand, arrangements have been made
to transport the fuselage to a shop for work after Christmas.

Bill,
Do you know if they are a reliable source/organization, I put together a large box of parts for shipment to them, but now its all gone quiet.
They wanted to purchase my cheek gun fairing, K-5 gun mount, Chin turret controller and the cheek gun spring assemblies.

Just a note to anyone interested: Dave and Bruce have finally been able to get in contact with each other and this little issue was resolved. There were some communication issues going on and now that they are back in contact they are working together. Bruce is working diligently to proceed on a B-17 fuselage restoration project. I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea that Bruce isn't straightforward in his dealings...he is.

Well said aerovin! I've had the pleasure of doing business with Bruce over the past 6 months or so and continue to try and help him out with turret parts and manuals as best I can.
My hat goes off to him for taking on such a huge undertaking. If anybody out there has any B-17 parts I'm sure Bruce would be interested!
John
Thanks

Thanks Guys,
I feel really bad now for my posting, I never doubted that Bruce was a straightforward guy, he has been in contact and we are sorting out some parts.
Anyone that has some seat frames or seat cushions please get in contact, these are the last items on my list for the cockpit project I am doing.
Again , sorry for the posting.

The turret is coming along nicely, thanks again for the manual, it really helped to identify what type it is.
Will forward you some photos hopefully later this week
