B-25 N25NA Update

Post by Alfred E. Newman »

The sale of the Rabbit was completed this week. The B-25 has been moved from the EVG Museum and is at the McMinnville airport. The a/c has been depreserved and has had it's 2600s run up with no problems. Jeff and Wayne will ferry her to Aurora today for some further work. CAF B-25 pilot Tim Jackson will fly her down to Chino when she's ready. Althought it was planned to fly her to OZ, my understanding is that she will ride has deck cargo on a freighter.
Steve Searle has a webpage up for his new Wirraway Aviation Museum and looks to it's gonna be a cool if not a tad far away for me.

In spite of what it says on the Wirraway Museum webpage. I've learned that Steve S. did buy the 500 gal ferry tank I found for them and it will fly to OZ. The B-25 is not going to Chino from Aurora but to the SF Bay area where it will depart on it's ferry flight. Jeff W. made a successful ferry flight from Mac to Aurora yesterday afternoon.
