Just to spread the word a bit, I was contacted recently by Bryan Oliver who had found documents that pretty definitively establishes the fate of B-25H 43-4643, N1203, the fabled Paul Mantz Cinerama B-25. It crashed at Santa Marta, Colombia, on September 4, 1976. At least one person, a gentleman named Eddie Issaic, was killed in the crash. The source of this information are WikiLeaks files. Though I am not a big fan of how these files came to light, there are State Department cables about N1203 and the accident and the people involved that bear interest for those interested in the fate of this historic airplane.

I am working on pulling together a bit more on what we now know about the last year of use of N1203 and will add that to a long delayed B-25 News update coming soon to a web page near you.
