The new NMM / Nationaal Militair Museum at former Soesterberg AFB in the Netherlands opened last December. One of the veteran planes on display is B-25 M-464. This one served with the Dutch during WWII in Australia and the Dutch Indies before being handed over to the Indonesian Republic in 1950 for operation in AURI. The plane came to NL in the early seventies. Now it hangs in the museum, it is possible to check the top of the wings, this wasn't possible in the old museum. It's very peculiar to see, that the former AURI marks are still visible on top of the LH wing...Really a piece of history! The picture tells the story. The red outside ring is hardly visible.
