I saw this short film on TCM recently, and found it was one of the extras on the Across the Pacific DVD:
Four new B-17Es are featured; maybe shot at Hamilton Field?:
Three of the serials were legible. Per Baugher:
Anyone have any images of 41-2536 as a combat plane?
The movie also featured training field shots of PT-17s, BT-13s, AT-6s, AT-9s, and an AT-12, plus brief shots of P-38s and P-39s, Lockheed C-57 41-23164 being used by Gen. "Hap" Arnold, and a rare wartime shot of Northrop A-17 35-126 in O/D and gray.
