Great job - we're getting there! Additions/corrections:

#12 - 44-6070
Image

#19 - unknown
Image

#30 - unknown (need to match this with an accident report?)
Image

#32 - unknown
Image

#4_ - 42-29759 Gay Caballeros (combat veteran)
Image

#40 (1) - 42-XXXX
Image

#40 (2) - 42-37779 Pist'l Packin' Mama/Belle's Pist'l Pakin' Mama (combat veteran)
Image
Image

#43 - 42-29551
Image

#47 - 42-30078
Image

#51 - not 42-29551; could be B-17F 42-29563 which crashed near Potlatch, OR Dec. 2, 1943 (which would explain the second #51, a B-17G) – wreck buried at site. Partial code "H-5" found on fuselage remains in 2012.

#61 - unknown
Image

#67 - 42-30104 (it's a bit blurry but it's the only one that works as a listed Hobbs serial)
Image

#76 - 42-29908 (again blurry but works)
Image

#85 - 42-29980
Image

#86 - 42-30077
Image

#87 - 42-29610
Image

#93 - 42-5416 (this doesn't match your listing, but the other photo does show it's got the earlier model main wheels; so I think the tail shot is the same plane)

Chris

This photo has been on e-bay for a while but wondering

I am seeing large two digit numbers on the tail and it is not 1940 Alaska (a bunch of B-17G's in flight)

I've noticed it; don't think it's worth 25 bucks since the planes are so small, even though the seller did a full-size scan. Let's try enlarging, then breaking it into bite-size pieces:

Note what could be Alaskan high-vis markings on two of the planes.

Not much to go on! I think there are probably some Hobbs trainers in here, although the NMF planes don't seem to have the "H" on their tails. Odd... The same vendor had this shot labeled "Ladd Field 1938" (Ladd maybe, 1938 no way) featuring a lineup of 17s (at least one in partial red Alaska markings?) and a Z-coded Las Vegas Gunnery School B-24D:

The more I thought about it, the more I am convinced L AAF is Lockbourne

Do not see any nose numbers which would convince me

Agree the price is way too high - maybe 10 for a print that is scan-able

Do not thin any of these aircraft has hi visibly paint - look at the note and it just say this guy started in Alaska then 8th & 15th AF so not much to go on.

OK, got the book and did some scans; we can add these to the list:

#40 is 42-5211:
Image

#80 is 42-5212, named Devil's Dream (the only personal note in the booklet):
Image

#82, couldn't read the serial:
Image

And already known, but a clearer shot of #47, 42-30078:
Image

And finally #73, Shack Rat! again. You can almost read that serial...
Image

...but not quite. I tried many different scans, but it looks like it was worn away, probably from dust/rain/ice thrown at it by the #2 prop:
Image
My best guess is 42-5XXX.

I'll get the whole thing scanned this weekend.

(Scans are way larger than this)
