Too rich for my blood, or anyone else's here probably, but there are some tidbits worth checking out. Anyone care to try to suss out the IDs of these Hoevet Field (at Mareeba) boneyard B-17Es?

Great ID, Steve - thanks!

(Osborne lists 41-2665 as Lulu and Pretty Baby; was Salisbury's Silly Saps the last name it carried?)

No, it was the first (known) name that the plane had. We've all seen a number of photos of Pretty Baby but I don't think anybody's ever found a photo showing the name Lulu on it. However, it's reported in very reliable records.
