Some great photos of Mantz and his P-51s and B-25 there. Some of sealing the wing for the wet wing fuel tank and the bladder tank going in behind the cockpit. Also, Mantz getting his hands dirty and getting ready to fly in his suit and tie.
Great stuff.

... labeled Bendix Trophy 1949, but that's the 1948 Glen McCarthy paint job on N1202 and N1204... Both were repainted RED for the 1949 Bendix.
