The 5th edition of Final Cut is back from the printers and available. For those who pre-ordered, you should see the book come in the mail within the next ten days....well in time for Christmas.
It turned out quite well in my humble opinion...32 pages added from the 4th edition with new material and updated content. The fifth edition is 288 pages with about 475 photos. Still the same price as the fourth edition, which sold out in 2016. More information right here:

Great news Scott and goes without saying from a multitude of people. Delivery today wouldn't be to soon to receive my copy. Thanks for your dedicated effort along with the contributers.

Just got my copy! Thanks! Now I have the complete set. As usual, very nicely done. This will be an excellent addition to my ever growing stack of B-17 books.

Got my copy -- John beat me to the picture of all 5 Editions....
I really have to sit down with you and fix the entry for Memphis Belle, been wanting to grab that entry for the past 15 years <vvbg>
For instance -- she was not painted in wildly accurate markings when she was placed on display -- she was in training marking as MacDill.
And she was assigned to the AAFBU in April 1944 not September 1944 (September is when she was in heavy Mx and they updated her chart as to he location)
Need to plug in some shots of her as both a training ship as well as when she was in storage
*******************************
But damn, all the other information that has been included -- as Kay Kaiser used to say "Vonderfull, Vonderfull" another brilliant edition

Yes, all of this would have been good to have six months ago. I'll file away the tidbits for the 6th edition, if there is one...
I don't have any photos of it in storage or in use as a trainer.
