Aviation Archeology has her as 42-30540 but clearly in error - rest of information seems correct
Aircraft card has her class 26 on 15 January 44 - card is essentially blank, nothing past Gore AAf on 27 June 1943

Aha, AAIR has it as 42-30450.
Scroll to the top of that list, and you'll see that Clinton H. Griffin and Richard F. Lowe brought in the new year with a bang - they had a landing accident (accidents?) in two CG-4As that managed to hit four other Wacos - might be interesting to see the accident photos.

The best crash ever was a PB4Y-2 that crashed on landing and wiped out 105 aircraft - all brand new F6F's and TBM's - the PB4Y crew walked away without a scratch.Chris Brame wrote: ↑Sat Jan 01, 2022 2:02 pm Aha, AAIR has it as 42-30450.
