An interesting photo has turned up on eBay.
Strait to Hell appears to be 42-97436, the first B17G-15-VE, which completed 79 missions with the 346th Bomb Squadron, 99th Bomb Group.

I don’t think we’d been able to associate a serial number with that nickname before.
