1/3rd Scale B-17 Homebuilt

Hoo-boy....here is something you just don't see every day.
Being built by Jack Bally of Dixon, Illinois. Yeah, man. Go Jack!
And it will fly like a Cessna 150, which may or may not be a good thing.
Control wheel looks like full scale, wth four throttles to boot.

Now, me I thought I was doing okay building an RV-8; I just wasn't thinking big enough.
By the way, anybody remember the 1972-ish Air Progress article about doing a B-17 homebuilt to be powered by VW engines? Well, I do.
