B-17G 44-83316 and Twelve O'Clock High, etc.

Post by aerovin2 »

I just added a post at aerovintage about another somewhat obscure B-17G...this being 44-83316 and one that had a long and torturous history. However, parts of it are still around and have gone into several B-17 restorations. It was the second B-17 (fuselage only) used during the filming of the second and third seasons of Twelve O'Clock High in 1965 and 1966.

Scott,

What was the source of the interior mockup for season one? I know I just posted a seperate thread on this, but I'm hoping this stimuates your memory.
