Book Review

Being kind of distracted lately it has taken me some time to really get personal with my copy of the latest edition of FINAL CUT.
I had read the second edition and when my 3rd Ed. arrived I just read the stories of the better known (to me) B17s in the warbird scene.
The things that caused me to post this are the stories that describe the travails on some of the recoveries.
What an adventure the Brooks team had pulling that plane out of the Canadian lake and back to Georgia.
And I have been fortunate enough to have Scott Royce come work on TEXAS RAIDERS, so reading of his work (and that of the "volunteers" God Bless you whoever you ALL are) on Nine-O-Nine after its off road excursion were a treat.
As all of the survivor's stories unfold it gets me where I live to read about the ones that are still with us and the ones that crashed and will never haul beef carcasses in Bolivia again.
I salute you Scott and hope to read the 4th Edition as soon as it is warranted!
