FAA regulations prevented an 8 plane formation,
there are a few picts showing all 8 '17s, although
some look like specks.

It's too bad they couldn't get two flights of four so atleast there would be a picture of them together and recognizable.

Spent the week in Michigan, so I just got home Saturday night. The formation flyover led with three B-17's spread about a half mile apart, followed by three ships together and two more paired up behind them. All te the flyover pictures are just specks, there was no way to get all eight in a visible picture.

On the ground, pictures were possible of either a tail line or nose line, but from the nose view, the picture becomes hard to view all the noses, especially with everyone around.

There are a bunch of pictures on the Wix message board with various links to picture collections at: http://warbirdinformationexchange.org/p ... sc&start=0
and about anything else you want to know about the show.

Overall it was fantastic getting to just see eight B-17's together, let alone flying. All of the 17's made individual flybys also.

If this link worked, here's one picture with all the tails, and crowd (not my picture).
