I'm trying to ID - at least to plane-in-group number - this aircraft which I suspect has been phtographed about 5 times during this mission. IF wrong, than there are 2 almost identical aircraft which were photographed around the same time.
Can someone help me?
There is also ANOTHER photo of this aicraft, across the tops of 2 pages in Fortress In The Sky, if memory serves. Can someone submit this photo to help this research project?
Gratefully,
Dan Katz

Its a shame that Dik Sheoherd can't join in this thread, his knowledge of the B-17 is sorely missed
