Had anyone noticed that the control wheels on the
DC-6 flown by John Wayne and Robert Stack were
B-17G control wheels?

And the SB-17G cockpit shots show non-B-17
control wheels?

Did you also happen to notice which way the aft entry door opened on the SAR B-17?
