I read a long time ago that the MARC bird had the top turret out of the Black Cat Pass bird. I also remember hearing that his crew also stripped out a lot of original equipment from that bird as well as Swamp Ghost in the early 70s. Any of that make its way onto the MARC B-17 as well?
Kinda neat to think that there is an aircraft still flying that at least has components that saw combat in the SW Pacific.

You bet it does.I remember the window mounts laying on a work bench for years at the MARC hangar in chino that also came out of black cat pass bird but Dave didnt want the enlarged nose windows installed.I really wanted to fix that so the bird looked right but I loved my job working for Dave so I left it alone.
