3rd AF B-17's

Post by terveurn »

Looking for photos / information on the third AF B-17's; Avon Park, MacDill, Drew and Gulfport. Attempting to do a Bits and Pieces file for my own use.

Was wondering if the ZOI Bomber Training Groups and the use of P-40 to simulate combat how were they marked

Here is a P-40 assigned to Avon Park, but in the markings of MacDill AAF (M-F1)
