Al Blue died in February

He will be greatly missed...........

Yes, Godspeed to him and thoughts to his family and friends.

I had quite a number of conversations with him about various B-24 topics over the years and he was a HUGE source of information. A great guy to visit with and so helpful.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. He was very helpful to me about ten years ago when I was designing my B-24D models. My condolences to his family.

I met Al a couple of times and we exchanged information on an off for the best part of fifty years. He was to the B-24 what Pete Bowers was to the B-17 and his knowledge of the plane was without equal. A nice guy and a great sense of humour. Rest in peace.
