No serial on this one; way outdated markings plus some art forward of the insignia. Note the B-17 forward fuselage and wing section next to it:
B-29 Annie, 42-6224, is the second Bell-Atlanta-built Superfortress; Baugher lists it as "Condemned crash landing surveyed Nov 6, 1944". The same seller has a couple more images of the plane with its nose stuck through a curtain between the hangar doors.
Anyone have any ideas about the ID of that B-17F?
