...any idea what's going on here ? ...why is the camera mounted that far BELOW the nose instead of In the nose... ???

...also, the second and third photos are reversed...(the #310 on the camera magazine + the lower window on the B-25 are reversed)...

...Many of the photos on the.. images.google.com/hosted/life ..site are like that...

My guess an early view of B-25H N1203 before the nose mods that transitioned into the distinctive camera nose. This would appear to be an early effort at a camera mount that probably did not work out.

Looks indeed as if it is an early test lay out. It's far too much shaking for making camera shots.
