Happy New Year

I'm looking to the year 2008 as the year
that a Shark Tailed B-17 starts it's long trek
back from extinction.

Sure hope it comes to fruition.

Are there any good histories of the early 17s, in particular their combat time in the Pacific early on?

2 Group RAF by Bowyer talks about the 90 Squadron birds fairly well, but the Phillipines USAAC birds seem to float under the radar outside of Colin Kelly.

The second part of that, is how many were lost and are there wreck sites out there in the Phillipines or elsewhere?
