How "Picadilly Lilly 2" got to Chino

The Planes of Fame B-17 used in the TV version of "12 o'clock high" and a few movies

Don Lykins and crew moved "Picadilly Lilly 2 N3713G" from previous base at Ontario (ONT) to Chino (CNO) on 3 Oct 1970

I shot this stuff from the back seat of a Piper PA-23 Apache

The runway 21 landing at Chino was shot between the front seat occupants

Those are some cool photos and I recognize some of them as appearing in a few 1970s publications like Air Classics.

Stating the obvious, but N3713G was at Chino for most, if not all, of 1964-1967. It made a few air shows circa 1970 and then was grounded, as it still is.
