Scott, I noticed you mentioned this B-25 nose section was listed on ebay earlier this month in you latest B-25 news update.
Legend of Aces Aviation posted on their facebook page that they have acquired this B-25... Here is the announcement from their page.
Finding its way to her new home here at Legend Of Aces Aviation in Brighton, MI. This B-25 J Mitchell will be the start to the Legend Of Aces Aviation Heritage Foundation where she will be restored and returned to the skies.
It is missing the center section but we do have a lead on one. Once we form the 501C3 foundation we hope to be able to raise the money to buy the missing center.
Well, that is interesting and quite a challenge given the condition of the airframe. I'm curious about why the nose section only was for sale on ebay. Perhaps a followup is needed. Thanks for posting the information.

I'm glad to see this project will be getting some TLC. I've taxied past parts of it in its former storage location and wondered where the rest of the airplane was stored--all I remember seeing was the nose and other bits.
