Just wanted to bring to your attention that
Scott has the Desert Rat page up and running.
Worth the price of admission, if I do say so myself.

What a great looking bird! You guy's have done a fantastic job on her.
Question: was the cockpit completely stripped of parts when recovered, or do you all have any items?

Does the owner have the original Data Plate from the instrument panel?
If so, is it the small round type or the big oval type?

In reference to the question about the data plate,
they were missing from the plane when Mike bought it.

The reason I asked was I'm trying to figure out when Boeing went from the small (2 inch circle) data plate to the larger version. I know that the Y1Bs had the small ones and possibly the "B" models. But after that, who knows.
Anyway, if it was the small type I have one for you. I just had 25 of them made up.
If it was the larger size, there are plenty of reproductions out there.

I'll look at the blueprint, and see what the usage of
it was. Do you have a part number, by chance?

I'm sure that they had one, like everything else, but I have no idea what it would have been.
