I was looking at the pictures of the Ruby, Alaska B-17F

Where did the longerons go?
There should be 6 longeron pieces,
2 around the 10 and 2 O'Clock position,
and 2 pairs at the 5 and 7 O'Clock position.

They probably figured that, since it wasn't going to be used on any flyable aircraft there was no point in spending the money to have them made.

You are probably right Dik but why go to the trouble to rebuild it if a person is not going to do it right.Just seems a waste of time to me.Had it been done correctly and airworthy I believe it would be worth a whole lot of money and a time saver for someones B-17 project.
