B-25 N9091Z
I am looking for anyone who may help me in a search for information on a friend who was killed in Guatemala in the crash of a B-25, N9091Z, which took place in September 1960. My friends name was Clyde Benton Hughes, Pat. We suspect he was involved in supporting Anti-Castro forces. He also had a 1935 WACO YKC-S, N15236 that was abandoned in Tapachula Mexico after his death. Is it possible you might have uncovered information, or sources of information I can utilize, during your investigation?
Thanks
Thanks
I am at work right at this moment, and will have to look through my records when I get home. As far as I can recall I didn't see the name, but that is not to say that I may have overlooked it due to the date of 1960. I do know that the FEDs were watching several aircraft involved in gun running to Central and South America. Provide me with your email address and I will see what I can find. Also any additional information you have on Mr. Hughes, would possibly be helpful, but save that for the email. Do you know what happened to his WACO?

Wow!
That is quite a story!
My only death threats come from my wife -

Only if you want a fine wake in this house tomorrow!"
