Okay, I've done it again....updated both the B-17 and B-25 News pages. A bit shy on the -25 stuff...more things need to happen or more people need to tell me about the things that are happening. Lots of B-17 stuff, though.

Other little tidbits updated around the Aero Vintage website. I'll let you diligent types figure out where, but mostly no one cares. Still, there you go...

A great update Scott, many thanks. I particularly enjoyed the time machine ride to the old AFM and DB-17P 44-83624. I well remember walking to the museum, crossing those rails and seeing this:

The Dan Stroud photo must have been taken sometime before 1965, when the B-17 was painted in this half-hearted 381st Bomb Group scheme.

Also enjoyed all the stuff about Black Jack. (DVD Plug #1) :D

Ok,on the subject of the "Volunteer" B-17.Am I correct that this aircraft was struck off charge in 49 or when? That side intake is the same as the one that came out of the bar in greely colo.Could it be the same airplane?

Thanks for another great round of updates Scott.

I have been "lurking" for a while and finally decided to register.

I love my copy of Final Cut and this website is perfect for surfing on a quiet winter weekend morning. 8)
So many warbirds so little time.
