The picture of 41-2594 is interesting, as it does not have
a ball turret. When the Rat went to McDill, it did not have
one either. The pilot told us it was "waiting" for one, and there
is no evidence of a ball turret ever being installed in The Rat.

We've looked for pictures of her before her conversion
to the XC-108, but to no avail.

Do you happen to have any?
Can we get a copy of the one showing 41-2594?

Sorry, I only have pictures of her in the XC-108 configuration. The photo of 41-2594 was taken in Midland, TX. I'll send a full-size copy your way if you want to shoot me an email address.
