Just this past weekend we took the tail stinger off and have started to remove the paint, and take note of where sheet metal repairs will need to be made. Does anyone have any good photos of what the measurments are on the seat, and any info on gun mouns for the Cheyenne tail. We have no seat at all, and the guns that were in it were just two pipes sticking out. Thanks in advance.

Chris,
To what extent are you restoring the tail turret?
We have made an extra seat.

We are trying to restore it to stock configuration. We would kill for a seat! We plan on the B-17 coming indoors in the near future for good. The repairs that we are doing are all to airworthy standards. While we know she may never fly again, we don't want anything we do to hold her back if the chance should ever arise one day. Are you guys willing to trade or sell the seat? That would be a huge start.
